ARTI quarterly meeting in Casablanca

An archive of the association’s collective life, preserved as a historical reference.
In July 2019, most ARTI members met in Casablanca to discuss Morocco's audiovisual landscape. The meeting was chaired by Kamal Lahlou, then President of the association, with the Secretary General of the Moroccan Media Federation in attendance.
Discussions covered sector issues and a proposal to reform audiovisual legislation. ARTI called for private radio operators to take part in strategic debates affecting the profession and freedom of information.
ARTI said it would continue dialogue with public authorities to support a pluralistic national audiovisual landscape and Moroccan operators. This page preserves the historical position in its 2019 context.
